Before you send a role
Will they actually overlap our hours?
Kosovo and Albania are usually six hours ahead of US Eastern Time. Both observe daylight saving, so the gap stays near six hours except for a short stretch when the clocks change on different weeks. The default shift is 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ET, which is 14:00–22:00 CET for the developer. At least four hours of overlap with your team is guaranteed.
How strong is the English?
US-style communication is part of the standard. Step two is a live conversation: how someone explains a decision, in speech and in writing. We do not publish a certificate score, and a certificate does not stand in for that conversation. English levels on the sample dossiers are placeholder fields, not test results.
How do you judge quality?
Six steps. Vetted with a proven skillset. You still interview and choose the developer before anything is signed.
Who are we contracting with?
AlbanianHire is a business of Stackstone LLC, a Florida limited liability company. The engagement is month to month, on a monthly rate, with no placement fee. This website is a demonstration of that offer. The privacy and terms pages are drafts, pending attorney review.
Who owns the code and the IP?
They work in your tools and sign your NDA. The engagement is written so work product is assigned to your company. Have your counsel read the agreement before an engagement starts. The legal pages here are drafts, not a finished contract.
If the rate looks low, is the talent?
The from rates are $65 an hour for a senior engineer and $45 for mid-level. The lower price is the cost of living in Pristina and Tirana, and the absence of a US benefits load, payroll tax, and recruiter fee. The pricing comparison puts a US developer at about $16,000 a month fully loaded, against a monthly seat at the from rate times 160 hours. The salary anchor is the May 2025 OEWS median of $135,980 for software developers. The vetting and the scored English do not change. If a rate is wrong for the stack, the quote says so.
What does the account manager actually do?
One person at Stackstone stays on the engagement. They handle the introduction you asked for, the practical start (hours, tools, NDA), a monthly quality check-in, and a replacement at no cost if it is not the right fit in the first 30 days. They do not cold-call you.
Can we hire the developer onto our team?
After 12 months you can hire them directly at no fee. Until then the engagement stays month to month with AlbanianHire.
What if the developer has not started in 10 business days?
Start in 10 business days, or your first week is free. If your developer hasn't started within 10 business days of a signed order form, we waive the first week. That applies to developers on our available bench at signing. If it's not the right fit in the first 30 days, we replace the developer at no cost.
What is the Founding Client Program?
Founding Client Program: 3 seats. The first 3 clients get the same price, the rate locked for 24 months, and free direct hire after 6 months instead of 12. In return they agree to a short case study and one reference call.
Can an agency add overflow capacity?
Overflow capacity under your brand. The developer works under the agency’s name, email, and tools. The agency’s clients never see AlbanianHire. We sign a non-solicit covering the agency’s clients. The price is the same as a standard seat. Land the big Shopify or Next.js project, add a senior for the build, and roll off when it ships.
