Hire Next.js

A Next.js developer for the app, not a theme.

Routes, data loading, and the React UI around them, in the Next.js codebase you already run.

What this developer does for you

They work across a Next.js application: the routes people hit, how data gets to those routes, and the React interface on top. This is product or site work inside your repo.

  • Routes and layouts

Pages and shared layouts in the structure the project already uses.

  • Where the data loads

Server or browser, matching how that codebase already fetches. The live interview asks them to explain that choice.

  • Forms and the result on screen

A mutation, the pending state, and what the person sees when it fails.

  • The React around the route

The interface is still React. A Next.js seat that cannot hold the UI is the wrong seat.

How we vet for Next.js

Vetting for Next.js is not a generic JavaScript puzzle. The timed test uses the Next.js work they claim, and the live interview asks where a piece of work should run and how they take a correction.

  1. 01

    English

A live conversation. A certificate does not stand in for it.

  2. 02

    Timed test

A practical exercise on the stack they claim.

  3. 03

    Live interview

How they reason, and what they do with a correction.

  4. 04

    Paid task

Scored before anyone is introduced to you.

From pricing

Senior engineer (5+ years) from $65/hr, from about $10,400/mo at 160 hours. Mid-level engineer (2–5 years) from $45/hr, from about $7,200/mo. Junior (0–2 years) is quoted with the role. A custom quote confirms the role.

Years are a guide. Our coding test and live interview confirm the final level. The default shift is 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ET (14:00–22:00 CET for the developer). Month to month, no placement fee. If it is not the right fit in the first 30 days, we replace the developer at no cost.

Next.js questions

Is this a React seat with a different name?

Next.js includes the React UI, and it also includes routing and data loading. The test and the interview cover that split, not only components.

Who owns the code and the IP?

They work in your tools and sign your NDA. The engagement is written so work product is assigned to your company. Have your counsel read the agreement before an engagement starts. The legal pages here are drafts, not a finished contract.

Can an agency use this for a client build?

Yes. Overflow capacity can sit under the agency’s name, email, and tools. The agency’s clients never see AlbanianHire, and we sign a non-solicit covering those clients. The price is the same as a standard seat.
