Hire QA
QA for the release, not a leftover pass.
A test plan, API checks, and automation on the tools they claim, before you call a build done.
What this developer does for you
They protect a change your team is about to ship. The seat is an add-on beside an engineer seat, or a QA seat on its own. No separate from rate is published.
What to test
A written plan for the change: the path that matters, and the path that usually breaks.
API checks
Requests against the API the change touches, including the error the client will see.
Automation they can defend
Automation on the tools they claim. The exercise is how they test, not a feature demo.
A result the team can read
What ran, what failed, and what they did not cover. English is part of the standard.
How we vet for QA
QA uses the same six-step standard, with the practical exercise aimed at how they test. A scored English call still happens. You interview anyone you might work with. Vetted & proven is the bar, and there is no published from rate for the seat.
01
English
A live conversation. A certificate does not stand in for it.
02
Timed test
A practical exercise on the stack they claim.
03
Live interview
How they reason, and what they do with a correction.
04
Paid task
Scored before anyone is introduced to you.
From pricing
No separate from rate is published for QA, DevOps, or IT support. The seat is quoted with the role. Engineer seats, when the work is engineering, start at Senior (5+ years) from $65/hr and Mid-level (2–5 years) from $45/hr. Junior is 0–2 years.
Years are a guide. Our coding test and live interview confirm the final level. The default shift is 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ET (14:00–22:00 CET for the developer). Month to month, no placement fee. If it is not the right fit in the first 30 days, we replace the developer at no cost.
QA questions
Why is there no from rate for QA?
No separate from rate is published for QA, DevOps, or IT support. The seat is quoted with the role. Engineer seats, when the work is engineering, start at Senior (5+ years) from $65/hr and Mid-level (2–5 years) from $45/hr. Junior is 0–2 years.
Who owns the code and the IP?
They work in your tools and sign your NDA. The engagement is written so work product is assigned to your company. Have your counsel read the agreement before an engagement starts. The legal pages here are drafts, not a finished contract.
What does the QA exercise look like?
A timed practical task on how they test the stack they claim, then a live interview and a paid task. It is not a certificate and it is not a feature-coding test with the name swapped.
What hours do they work?
The default shift is 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ET (14:00–22:00 CET for the developer), with at least 4 hours of overlap. Month to month, with no placement fee. If it is not the right fit in the first 30 days, we replace them at no cost.
